Serving of Ads

This site may display advertising supplied by third-party networks, Google AdSense among the possibilities. Where ads are served, the network and its partners may read and write cookies or device identifiers in order to choose which ads to show, limit repetition, and report on results, based partly on your browsing elsewhere. The ads shown alongside our writing on Longcapsule are selected by those networks, not by us. We do not review them individually, and an ad appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of it by Longcapsule.

Managing Ad Personalisation

Several opt-outs exist. Google’s own is at Google Ads Settings. Industry-wide ones are run by the DAA and the NAI, with Your Online Choices covering Europe. We honour Global Privacy Control without you asking. Opting out affects targeting, not ad volume.
